Strategic Procurement Specialist

Your key responsibilities
The tasks in the position are many and varied, and will among other things include:
  • Negotiate and optimize efficient packaging solutions in collaboration with our Supply Chain Team.
  • Collaborate with our stakeholders to develop and implement supplier – and procurement strategies within assigned categories.
  • Secure competitive prices and volume growth.
  • Build competitive global supplier base.
  • Spend time abroad with our 4 Nordic partners’ category organizations to gain national insights.
  • Develop and maintain Product and Price Lists (PPLs).
  • Organize inspiration days and align on competitive assortments.
  • Conduct analyses focused on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) within own categories.
  • Focus on understanding and enhancing sustainability.
  • Utilize existing Procurement tools and actively contribute to their improvement.

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you:
  • Are data-driven with 3-5 years of purchasing experience.
  • Are experienced in project management and stakeholder management.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of the importance of packaging and logistics.
  • Have experience in Nordic retail business is an advantage.
  • Have strong commercial understanding and negotiation skills.
  • Have good knowledge and understanding of total cost of ownership (TCO) is an advantage.
  • Are fluent in English both orally and written (knowledge of Nordic languages is a bonus).
  • Are a proficient user of the Office package (Microsoft Office).

  • Have an analytical, structured, and strategic approach to procurement tasks.

Place of work: We have just moved to our new premises on Skelbækgade, Vesterbro.

It is a requirement to be able to meet at the office every week; however, it is still possible to work from home a few days a week. You can expect to have 30-40 travel days per year with the possibility of overnight stays.
