Digitizing Engineering to Improve Society
Engineering is a vital part of improving our society. Critical infrastructure, industry, and the green transformation all depend on engineering to progress. And increasingly, engineering depends on digital tools and products. In COWI, we are streamlining and improving the way we build these.

To help with this task, we are looking for a Test Manager to join our department in Business IT. We are 23 specialists and project managers within IT, Data Science, and GIS, working alongside our customers and internal partners to digitize and improve the way engineering is done.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Define and implement test strategies and plans for projects and releases
• Identify, and in close dialogue with Tech Leads/Solution architects, implement the right tools and best practices for test automation and reporting
• Oversee and manage all aspects of testing independently to ensure quality outcomes
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and risks
• Advance continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies
• Promote test automation and CI/CD best practices to increase efficiency

On top of that, you will have:

• 2 years of experience working within IT development organizations and/or teams
• Effective communication skills, including management of key stakeholders
• An interest in and willingness to learn about the interplay between IT and engineering, including infrastructure, industry, civil engineering and renewables

While not a requirement, experience with the following tools and areas are relevant:

• Experience with test automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Selenium, Cypress, Postman, CircleCI
• Experience with test reporting tools like Jira Xray, Azure DevOps, Grafana
• Understanding the principles behind continuous improvement
• Experience working with cloud-based CI/CD
