We are currently seeking a dynamic and ambitious colleague to take on the role of Sourcing Manager - IT.
In this position, you will play an important role in bringing IT Procurement further to excellence by developing and implementing category strategies within IT area while supporting the business driving value and cost optimization in key sourcing projects.

Digital Technology (Global IT) at Falck has recently embarked on a digitalization journey with 100 projects to be delivered in the coming years. IT Procurement is setting up to play its role becoming a trusted business partner taking ownership of all the commercial aspects of this journey. This to ensure strong focus on the total cost of ownership to Falck while also securing a solid focus on compliance, ESG and sustainability within our supply chain.

This position is ideal for candidates who have a background as a Sourcing Specialist/Associate, Associate/Junior Procurement Manager and are eager to take Falck's IT procurement to the next level.

While experience is valuable, we prioritize a "can-do" mindset over specific qualifications. IT Procurement background is not mandatory. We are committed to supporting your growth in this role, regardless of where you are in your career.

About the job

As a Sourcing Manager IT, you will have a unique opportunity to drive the tenders, optimization projects delivering savings and ensuring compliance with the company standards.

You will support in defining and delivering the new IT category strategy. You will contribute to Falck´s digitalization journey by delivering global IT Procurement projects and tenders and you will get exposure across all lines of businesses and global departments as well as our regional offices in US, LATAM, EU and Nordics.

Key priorities are:

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process of IT-related products and services, including hardware, software, and cloud services
• Maintaining a focus on savings and improving terms and conditions in contract negotiations
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
• Collaborate with various departments within the organization to understand their IT procurement needs and provide solutions
• Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Key coordination with legal, compliance and finance departments in relation to contracting activities

About you

• A completed Bachelor´s or Master’s degree e.g., supply chain, project management, business administration, economics or similar
• Have several years of sourcing experience
• Indirect and IT Procurement procurement experience beneficial
• Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills being able to create structure and transparency in complex supply chain landscape
• Highly motivated by and capable of running multiple projects simultaneously
• Able to work independently and in team
• Have strong communication and stakeholder management skills
