A leader in offshore wind energy, specializing in turbine blade modification and assembly, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Job Description:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will design, modify, and optimize turbine blades for offshore wind applications. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, efficient solutions for turbine blade technology.
Responsibilities:
Design and modify turbine blades for offshore wind applications.
Conduct structural and mechanical analysis to ensure performance and durability.
Work with manufacturing teams to support assembly and resolve technical issues.
Produce CAD drawings and maintain accurate technical documentation.
Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives for blade performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
3 years of mechanical design experience, ideally in offshore wind or similar industries.
Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and FEA tools.
Strong understanding of turbine blade design and offshore wind sector challenges.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
English proficiency; Danish is a plus.
