A leader in offshore wind energy, specializing in turbine blade modification and assembly, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Job Description:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will design, modify, and optimize turbine blades for offshore wind applications. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, efficient solutions for turbine blade technology.

Responsibilities:

• Design and modify turbine blades for offshore wind applications.
• Conduct structural and mechanical analysis to ensure performance and durability.
• Work with manufacturing teams to support assembly and resolve technical issues.
• Produce CAD drawings and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives for blade performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• 3 years of mechanical design experience, ideally in offshore wind or similar industries.
• Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and FEA tools.
• Strong understanding of turbine blade design and offshore wind sector challenges.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
• English proficiency; Danish is a plus.
