We’re looking for a Business Controller to join our growing Business Finance NetCo team. This role is highly involved in capex controlling where you’ll support on large investment cases as well as being involved in a major IT Transformation Project.

NetCo oversees one of the region's largest interconnected fiber networks, spanning over 235,000 kilometers and driving more than 50 % of all data traffic in the Nordics. With an annual CAPEX spend of approximately €160 million, these substantial investments reflect GlobalConnect’s strong commitment to consolidating its position as the leading fiber operator in Northern Europe.

Help build the financial backbone in Group IT

As a Business Controller, you’ll play a key role in making sure our financial planning and capital investments are solid, smart, and aligned with our long-term ambitions. You’ll focus on capex controlling for one of our main business units.

You’ll create and refine financial models, participate in business boards, and ensure that our forecasts are accurate and meaningful. With cash flow and profitability in mind, you’ll help us prioritize the right investments and secure transparency across the board.

Your closest colleagues will be a Nordic team of finance professionals who work hybrid across locations. You'll report to the Director, Business Controlling Netco who is based in Norway, and you will be part of a collaborative, cross-border environment where financial insights help guide real-world decisions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Capex controlling and financial followup.

• Developing and maintaining forecasting models for revenue and investments

• Participating in business boards and supporting business cases

• Handling monthly controlling and deviation analysis and budgets

To bring value from day one, we think you have:

• 3 years of experience in Accounting or Controlling.

• Experience with capex controlling is an advantage.

• A master’s degree in finance or similar, alternatively profound finance experience.

• Familiarity with Power BI and financial processes in at least one Nordic market is a plus.

You can be based in Copenhagen, Stockholm, or Oslo — and we work in a hybrid setup where collaboration is key, but flexibility is real. Some travel within the Nordics may occur.
