As Ecommerce Director, you will play a central role in our commercial success and be responsible for developing and executing hummel’s global ecommerce strategy. You will lead digital sales, CRM, marketplaces, and performance marketing, while delivering a seamless omnichannel experience that brings together our sport partnerships, brand DNA, and commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Global Ecommerce Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement an international ecommerce sales and business plan, in accordance with the overall company strategy, that maximizes revenue, customer engagement, and brand desirability.
  • Commercial Performance: Drive data-led decision-making, ensuring continuous optimization of sales performance across regions, brands and categories.
  • Building a Market-Leading Loyalty Program: Deliver personalized, immersive, and engaging experiences centered around our brand DNA across consumer touchpoints.
  • Innovation & Business Development: Be responsible for the investment plans and development roadmap across platforms and markets and drive innovation through testing and continuous market and competitor benchmarking.
  • Financial Planning & Performance Monitoring: Oversee ecommerce revenue targets, monitor and challenge all associated costs, and track global ecommerce KPIs to ensure alignment with hummel’s ambitious growth goals.
  • Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Act as the key link between ecommerce, marketing, product, IT, and regional teams to deliver the global commercial ambition.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Build and develop a high-performance ecommerce team, fostering a culture of innovation, execution, and commercial excellence.

  • Proven track record of delivering ecommerce growth in a global retail or branded consumer goods company.
  • Strategic and hands-on leader, capable of operating at both a tactical and operational level.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience in campaign planning, performance marketing, and conversion optimization.
  • Global stakeholder management experience, with the ability to navigate a complex multinational organization.
  • Data-driven decision-maker, leveraging insights to optimize customer experience and maximize revenue.
  • Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to drive results while collaborating across diverse perspectives and cultures.
