Commercial Product Manager

Here is what the job entails
As our new Commercial Product Manager, you will execute our business strategy initiatives within our electricity product portfolio in collaboration with various internal stakeholders and our customers. To do so, you will be responsible for driving the commercial aspects of our metering hardware portfolio, including managing market launch plans.

More specifically, you will be:

• Managing the product lifecycle from idea to end-of-life e.g. translating market needs into requirements, product launch, and product discontinuation
• Driving strategically important initiatives and setting the direction for our future hardware products
• Build and maintain business cases in relation to our decision-making processes
• Revitalize and consolidate new and aging technology platforms through balancing technical requirements and commercial feasibility
• Challenge the status quo and work with our technology colleagues to develop commercially viable solutions

You will be at the forefront of decision-making, steering the direction of our products. Owning a large product portfolio, you will experience the freedom to act and the responsibility needed to make impactful decisions that help our customers adapt to a sustainable energy system.

With direct reference to our Head of Product Portfolio Management, you will become part of a team of 6 highly skilled colleagues who work every day to bring smart metering solutions and services to our markets. The team consists of many backgrounds ranging from highly technical profiles to profiles with a commercial and strategic focus and background. We are looking for an ambitious Commercial Product Manager who is passionate about delivering winning and value-adding solutions and who naturally takes on a leading role and creates an impact. You achieve this through your personal drive which you use to gain support to your ideas and projects.

To succeed in this role, we envision that you:

• Have 5 years of experience in product management or business development
• Have a great commercial understanding combined with technical interest
• Are an effective communicator who excels in building and maintaining strong relationships
• Can translate technical information to a broad audience

As we are an international organization, fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of Danish will be seen as an asset.
