Here Is What The Job Entails
As our new Platform Engineer, your main responsibility will be to oversee the governance, capacity management, and operation of our Kubernetes platform based on the needs of our developers. Your focus will be on simplifying workflows for Kamstrup developers, enabling them to create and deploy high-quality software more effectively
More specifically, you will be:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize platform performance and reliability
- Continuously evaluating our platform roadmap and adopting new technologies to improve our platform
- Maintaining processes to ensure continuous deployment, vulnerability mitigation, disaster-recovery control, FinOps, and compliance
- Acting as a valued advisor, providing support and guidance to our consumers and mapping requirements
In this role, you will have the freedom to act, as you will play a key role in elevating the developer experience and enabling them to reduce time to market. You will drive and have the opportunity to explore and deep dive into new technologies as we strive to stay at the technological forefront.

With direct reference to our Head of Cloud and Platform Engineering, you will join a team of 9 skilled colleagues, consisting of IT Architects, Platform Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Cloud Engineers. Our team is the backbone of our digital transformation journey, focusing on modern and microservices architecture. We are a growing and motivated team responsible for providing platforms for our development teams and enhancing the developer experience. Less About Us, More About You
We are looking for a proactive Platform Engineer who is driven by acting as the liaison between vendor products and internal developer requirements. Your natural curiosity leads you to seek new challenges, in which you secure a balanced mix between new and existing frameworks, allowing you to translate your insights into achievable solutions
In order to succeed, we imagine that you:
- Have 5 years of experience designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters
- Have experience with Docker/Kubernetes, GitLab, CICD frameworks, and pipeline deployments
- Are proficient with DevOps tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, GitHub Enterprise, and other CNCF-related tools
- Have working knowledge of Role-Based Access Control, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
- Have experience with Azure cloud resource setup and management
