As a Junior Data Engineer, you'll be part of a dynamic team, developing and providing solutions for the IT Security and Platforms team. With a collaborative mindset, you'll work closely with team members and business product owners to understand, define, and develop solutions that enhance performance across the organization.

Bring enthusiasm and an open mind. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Translating business needs into technical designs and solutions: You'll learn to create and operate data integrations, and participate in or facilitate the prototyping of new solutions and technologies
• Ingesting and cleaning data: You'll work with various data sources and formats, from internal operation data to external market data
• Collaborating with business users: You'll contribute to creating concise and meaningful data assets that fit into our platform architecture
• Operating data pipelines: You'll ensure high robustness, fault tolerance, and availability, making optimizations and scheduling improvements along the way
• Maintaining CI/CD and data platform infrastructure: You'll keep the platform secure and robust while minimizing costs

Technologies you'll be working with:

• Python Azure Functions for ingestion
• Azure DevOps for CI/CD, repository storage, and package repository
• PySpark and Scala Spark for data pipelines
• Azure Synapse Analytics
