In Treasury, you will join a team of 2 talented and welcoming colleagues.

The Treasury Department has principal responsibility for cash management, foreign currency exchange and interest rate risk management and maintaining financing for Maersk Tankers, a shipping services and solutions provider, which also owns a large fleet of product tankers and has ten Very Large Ammonia Carriers under construction. The team consists of three full-time members; the Head of Treasury, this Treasury Manager position in Copenhagen and a Senior Treasury Analyst located in Mumbai.

As Treasury Manager you will be an important business partner for our senior management and our various business activities, both in strategic decisions and daily operations. You will report to the Head of Treasury.

What will you be doing?

• Execute FX and IR hedging and ensure that the company’s FX and IR exposures are effective-ly hedged according to our Financial Policy
• Co-manage the overall debt portfolio e.g., syndicated loan facilities and lease structures as well as all associated interest rate risks
• Assist with evaluating new funding initiatives
• Transactional execution, and in particular support for vessel Sale and Purchase activities
• Prepare and improve cash forecasts (including scenario planning) and reports to senior man-agement
• Work with our Financial Controllers on hedge accounting of IR swaps as well as providing ex-planations on financial items

You have 5-10 years of relevant work experience in a multinational corporation. You hold a master’s degree in finance, economics or similar. You are analytical, and you are able see solutions where others see obstacles. You exhibit advanced skills in managing relationships within and outside the organization. You enjoy collaborating within a small team and take pride in your readiness to deliver high-quality results. You possess a curious attitude. You prioritize tasks efficiently, and you communicate in a forthright manner. You are motivated and disciplined, enabling you to perform effectively in a busy workplace. Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

Technical skills

• Experience with cash management and cash forecasting
• Experience with hedge accounting and FX and IRS hedging execution, structures and policies
• Understanding of Corporate Finance principles and their practical application
• Experienced/advanced user of Treasury Management Systems and Excel
• Working knowledge of key IFRS accounting standards (IFRS 9 and IFRS 16) - but not a re-quirement
