The job as a Senior Trader
As a Senior Trader, you will be responsible for trading and play a vital role in both training and motivating the rest of the intraday team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for personal growth and making an impact with the expectedly extensive knowledge you’ll be bringing.

With years in the market, we expect you to be hungry and highly motivated to make a difference in our trading. We take pride in challenging status quo and find it positive that you challenge our way of doing things if something can be optimized.

You will be a part of the same shift rotation as our current traders to keep our trading engine running 24/7 365 days a year. From Aarhus, we mostly work day shifts as our Austin office covers most evening shifts and Singapore office most night shifts.

Your key responsibilities

• Covering a full-time position as part of the shift schedule mentioned above
• Daily trading and optimization of trading positions from both traders and algos
• Define and help implement new trading strategies
• Continuous risk evaluation of trader and algo positions
• Be a role model to both traders and the rest of the intraday team
• Always question status quo
• Share insights to optimize and rethink trading tools

Your qualifications and personal skills

• Have 3 years of experience as an energy trader
• Driven by results and immediate feedback from colleagues and the market
• A positive and competitive person with grit and at the same time, a great team player
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, as our company language is English
