We are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Copenhagen. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in power systems contribute to various stages of project development, from tender preparation to final installation and testing.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will mature new products and solutions through technology development, delivery projects, services, concept studies, and FEED studies. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality designs and technical documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure innovation and efficiency in our projects. This is an ideal opportunity for an exceptional individual willing to take on fresh challenges, within subsea and offshore technology and expand operational knowledge and experience within a variety of exciting initiatives and company objectives.

As a specialist within the project team, you will focus on ensuring the efficiency and reliability of offshore flexible pipe system, augmented with direct electrical heating.

Key Responsibilities
Design and Engineering

• Develop electrical and instrumentation system design specifications for subsea/topsides power equipment
• Create technical specifications for subsea/topsides power and control systems
• Design power distribution and communication networks
• Ensure system reliability and safety in extreme environments

Technical Specifications

• Specify electrical cables, connectors and power hardware
• Design, specify and support procurement of power management and distribution systems
• Develop, specify and support procurement of instrumentation for monitoring and its integration into power systems

Installation and Commissioning

• Oversee equipment installation
• Conduct pre-commissioning testing and verification
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

• Perform diagnostic assessments of electrical systems, tests and control protocols
• Develop maintenance strategies
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Implement repair and replacement procedures

Key Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; a Master’s degree in Engineering is preferred.
• Experience: Preferably at least 5 years of relevant subsea/offshore experience in subsea systems, with a strong electrical and instrumentation engineering knowledge
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required.
• Documentation Skills: Strong ability to write clear and concise technical documents and procedures.
• Team Player: Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a project team, contributing to the success of subsea and offshore technologies.
