If yes, then you may be our new colleague. Apply now and join us! The PositionAs a manager, you will have the overall responsibility for your team in all aspects. You will primarily spend your time on people management activities such as 1:1 meetings, goal-setting and individual development of employees. You must secure followship for your clear communicated directions and be able to manage business complexity on a high level. In addition, you must ensure your team is following internal and external requirements and be involved in technical/professional matters when a decision or prioritization from a leader is needed. QualificationsTo succeed in this position, you have: Proven experience in people management, with a strong ability to manage and motivate a highly specialized team.5-8 years of leadership experience or background as a microbiologist in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in pharmaceutical microbiology, analytical support, or quality.Solid understanding of microbiological analysis, including validation concepts and GMP compliance.Familiarity with aseptic production processes.Degree in Natural Sciences, such as a Master of Science in Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Human Biology, or equivalent.Strong communication skills, fluent in English and Danish (written and spoken).Proficient in MS Office applications. As a person, you are optimistic, energetic and passionate about the role and responsibilities, well-organized and independent team player with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Moreover, you have excellent people skills with a leadership style characterized by empathy and the ability to inspire high performance in teams. You can work under pressure and adapting to changing demands. About the departmentThe Microbial Competence Centre consist of close to 70 employees and is a high-performing team in Analytical Science and Technology in Aseptic Manufacturing. Our main tasks are validation of microbiological methods (e.g. test for sterility, endotoxin, and viable counts), analysis of drug products for upcoming clinical trials, transfer of methods to production sites, efficacy tests of disinfectants/preservatives and scientific support to our global production sites. Furthermore, the department is on an exciting journey involving scouting, testing and implementing novel and fast analytical technology that can change the game and reduce the lead time for microbiological analysis at global production sites with the ambitious long-term goal of real time release testing of drug product.
