Regional Technical Support Engineer Korea | OnRobot

Location: Anyang, Korea

Reporting to : Country Manager in Korea

OnRobot was founded in 2015 in Odense, Denmark, and is on track to become the global One-Stop Shop for all Collaborative Applications on all Robot Platforms. OnRobot is defining and leading the market for Collaborative Applications by bringing disruptive technologies to market quickly.

To grow our Korean market OnRobot is looking for a Regional Technical Support Engineer who will help contribute to the commercial success of our business. You will work closely with your regional colleagues in APAC as well as the Global Tech Support team located in our HQ in Odense, Denmark. The position is based in Anyang Korea and reports to the Country Manager in Korea.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Providing technical support to our partners and sales team.
• Developing applications for trade shows, events, and seminars.
• Conducting technical trainings and workshops for partners, end users and sales team.
• Extending the show room for application development, tests, and training.
• Elaboration and implementation of feasibility studies.
• Visiting partners to help them improve their applications and to demonstrate our products.
• Participating in trade shows and seminars, preparation, and programming of various robot types.
• Developing Collaborative Applications - End User.
• Networking and developing relationships with Robot Manufacturers.
• Supporting lead generation through technical application support.

Requirements:

• Experience in designing and integrating robotic applications.
• Know how to program a robot (cobots and multiple brands preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field.
• Experience in or at least understanding of conducting seminars/trainings.
• Good communication skills (conducting trainings both face to face and online, filming video tutorials, helping sell product value proposition).
• A high level of proficiency in English is also needed (frequent communication with foreign colleagues both written and spoken).
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Occasional international travel will be required.
