Media Relations Manager, Nordics

Your new role

As our new Media Relations Manager for Ramboll in the Nordics, you will support our overall ambition to become the partner for sustainable change for our clients and stakeholders. Your main responsibility will be to develop and drive stories for key media which can support Ramboll´s position on company agendas and ensure that PR, social media and other efforts are communicated with impact across platforms. Your responsibility will be – together with colleagues in the Nordic team – to ensure the success of campaigns and market initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Handle media requests and provide timely responses to media inquiries while building and maintaining strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and key stakeholders
• Lead editorial efforts in the Nordics and craft compelling content with focus on strategic media pitches and thought leadership pieces in the Nordics – in close collaboration with other PR, social media and content specialists
• Responsible for key media launches and financial results communication in Denmark from Ramboll´s Group Executive Board – in close collaboration with the external communication team in Corporate
• Protect Ramboll´s brand by managing crisis communication in close collaboration with heads of communications and marketing in the Nordic countries

You will lead a small team of 1-2 colleagues – and have close collaboration with PR, social media and content specialists in the Nordics. This position reports to the Nordic Director for Communication and Marketing. You will be part of a global media and content network in Ramboll facilitated by the head of global editorial content, and you will lead the editorial group in the Nordics integrating contents across platforms.

About you

• Proven track-record of successful PR launches and crisis management in Denmark – and in one or more of the Nordic countries
• Thorough hands-on experience integrating PR efforts with social media strategies (organic and paid) to ensure an impactful presence across all channels
• Strong editorial competencies and ability to prioritise impactful stories
• Relevant educational background in communication, journalism, marketing or equivalent qualification
• Experience working within a matrix-structured organisation and in international teams
• Danish proficiency as well as excellent English skills
