WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US
As Sustainability Consultant in SimCorp, your primary responsibility will be to sustain and further develop an efficient reporting process compliant with internal and external requirements of CSRD and help improve our non-financial performance. In addition, you will play a central part in supporting sustainability and compliance projects.
As SimCorp Group is a part of Deutsche Börse Group (DBG) we will need to comply with the CSRD and the extensive European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). You will help execute the global impact assessment and reporting to DBG.
Due to the diverse nature of ESG data, you will be working in close collaboration with our Sustainability Working Group, Group Compliance team as well as Finance, People & Culture, Group IT, Risk Management and Business Units to manage and improve ESG data quality across the whole organization.
As the Group Compliance team collaborates closely across different topics, this role also offers a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with other compliance areas and how they overlap with data protection, including AI and IT Compliance etc.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
  • Management of efficient CSRD reporting and disclosure processes
  • Analyzing ESG data and creating and presenting compelling, evidence-based written and visual summaries of the data analysis
  • Playing an essential role in implementing SimCorp and Deutsche Börse Group Sustainability Strategy and initiatives for Greenhouse Gas Emission reductions.
  • Supporting the facilitation of internal workshops, communication and awareness events to embed sustainability within the organizational culture
  • Promoting cross-departmental collaborations to ensure effective and comprehensive CSRD disclosure processes and execution of ESG initiatives
  • Review and ensure compliance with other regulatory requirements in the ESG topic
  • Support the Group Compliance team with other Compliance topics, e.g. Data Protection, AI and IT Compliance.
WHAT WE VALUE

  • Have a degree within law, sustainability or similar relevant education
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to be directly involved, interested, and focus on the details while keeping the overall goal in mind
  • Ability to take the initiative to methodically find solutions to questions and/or concerns that need to be addressed
  • Experience with ESG reporting and implementing reporting standards
  • Have good analytical skills with attention to details
  • Have proficient English communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Previous knowledge from tech or financial companies are a plus, but not a requirement.
To thrive in this role, you should have effective interpersonal skills and a notable sense of humor.
