The ideal candidate will be comfortable outlining and planning all aspects of work related to a given project such as budget, timelines and teams. They will have strong communication skills that enable them to effectively communicate with all relevant teams. This individual should be able to foresee any problems related to the completion of a project and act in a timely manner to mitigate any issues.
Responsibilities
• Developing Project Schedules: Creating, baselining and maintaining site project schedules for ITOT using appropriate tools (OPC and Primavera P6) to ensure all tasks and activities are properly planned and coordinated and baseline schedule agreed and approved.
• Adherence to Standards: Ensuring that project scheduling practices adhere to industry standards, company policies, as well as processes and best practices defined in ITOT PMO.
• Progress Monitoring: Follow-up and track the progress of project activities per site, identifying variances from the approved schedule baseline, and providing regular reports to stakeholders.
• Coordination: Coordinating with various stakeholders, including project managers, team members, and external vendors, to ensure alignment of schedules and activities. Support clarification and resolution of schedule clashes and assess impact of changes and issues.
• Communication: Facilitating communication among project teams to ensure everyone is aware of their tasks, deadlines, and dependencies. Provide monthly reporting on progress and high-level milestones.
• Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities and support initiatives for improving scheduling processes and contributing to the evolution of project management practices within the organization.
