The Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Beijing is looking for a Chinese student assistant for the Health Team to assist with solving both analytical and translation tasks in a cross-cultural environment.

The Health Team is part of the Trade Council at the Embassy. We advise Danish companies and organizations on their strategy for penetrating the attractive but complex Chinese market and assist on the practical implementation.

  Job Description
  Your job will be to assist the Health Team in solving tasks within a broad spectrum of health-related topics such as public health, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, etc.

Main work tasks include:

• Assist with translation from Chinese to English – English to Chinese in written
• Assist with planning, organizing and executing events and meetings
• Contribution to and participation in writing reports
• Ad hoc assignments.
• Data collection and analyzing.
  Preferred Qualifications
  The job is open for applicants who are currently at the 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate or enrolled in a postgraduate program.

We prefer you to have the following qualifications:

• Must be currently enrolled in a BA or MA programme, major in English, International Relations or related areas is a plus:
• Excellent command in English both in writing and speaking
• Studies related to the health sector is considered an asset, but not a must
• Good analytical and communication skills

Practical info

• Working hours: Around 20 hours per week in office (working hours will be planned with the team leader)
• Duration: We strongly prefer long-term commitment (preferably minimum 6 months)
• Interviews will take place in May 2025
• Location: Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Beijing, 1 Dongwujie, Sanlitun, Chaoyang, Beijing
