This role is part of our sub-team, which spans across all our finance applications and will be instrumental in our future use of SAP S/4Hana. It involves analyzing current setups, creating solutions, detailed descriptions, testing, implementing, and maintaining new and existing processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:
Defining and refining business requirements in cooperation with Product Owners
Driving the management of functional processes, facilitating workshops, and end-user training with Product Owners
Ensuring high quality in deliveries through ongoing testing activities
Informing and communicating with Product Owners and stakeholders with a service-minded approach
Proactively driving analysis, exploring business needs and problems to continuously improve our processes for both IT and finance
Collaborating with Product Owners, stakeholders, developers, and architects to ensure business needs are correctly understood, developed, and implemented
The position is located in Ballerup (Denmark)
About you | Solid understanding of FICO
To be successful in this role, you need a solid understanding of FICO within SAP S/4Hana and be analytical and structured with great drive. Strong written and spoken communication skills are necessary to navigate between business, partners, and IT. You are naturally curious, thrive in dialogue with many people, and can handle demanding business needs. You can keep an overview while also having a keen eye for detail.
We imagine you have at least a few years of work experience in a similar position and possibly an accounting background. We work agile, using tools such as Jira and Confluence daily. Knowledge of agile methods is an advantage, but we will provide relevant onboarding in the tools and methods.
It is important that you have the courage to familiarize yourself with complex issues, as this is the starting point for analyzing and clarifying business needs in relation to IT solutions. We believe that business understanding within Finance is crucial to facilitate and truly understand the business's needs and capabilities.
The team has a Nordic focus with stakeholders in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, so knowledge of a Nordic language is an advantage.
About us | Focusing on Finance and HR systems
The finance system landscape in Tryg is complex, integrating with most of our business systems in the Nordic countries. We use SAP as our ERP system, which is strategically important in Tryg, supporting our critical business processes in Finance and Procurement. Our SAP system consists of on-premise systems, as well as SAP cloud systems, including modules such as FI/CO, FSCD, BW, PI/PO, and SAP Cloud Concur and Ariba. Additionally, we use mainframe systems technology to deliver solutions for our users.
As a Business Analyst, you will join our Enterprise Solutions area in the Business IT and Digitalization department (BID), within the team responsible for developing and maintaining IT solutions for finance in the Nordic countries. We are currently a team of 18 people focusing on Finance and HR systems together with our strategic partners.
