The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join the Umbraco Cloud group. If you care deeply about creating intuitive, accessible, and delightful user experiences, and enjoy writing scalable, maintainable code - this could be your next role.

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you’ll work in a cross-functional team alongside other frontend developers, backend developers, and a product manager. Together, we shape and evolve Umbraco Cloud - our flagship platform for seamless Umbraco development and deployment.

A job with real purpose
This role is central to strengthening the frontend of Umbraco Cloud Portal. You’ll have real influence on both user experience and technical direction - your decisions will help shape a product used by thousands of developers and agencies globally.

• 5 years of experience developing modern web apps
• A thoughtful approach to UX and accessibility
• Familiarity with multiple frontend frameworks and component-based architecture
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
• Experience working with web components. We use Lit.
• Comfortable with frontend build tools like Vite, Webpack, etc.
• Strong collaboration skills and a team-first mindset
• A desire to share ideas, ask questions, and grow - together
• Experience with Umbraco would be a plus

• Design and develop new features for the Umbraco Cloud frontend
• Collaborate with backend developers to build smooth, high-quality user experiences
• Write future-proof, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions
• Contribute ideas to improve both product and process
• Stay current with evolving frontend technologies

Work from anywhere
Umbraco HQ is in Odense, Denmark - but the position is remote-friendly. Whether you’re working from our cozy HQ or your favorite home-office setup, you’ll be part of a team that values flexibility, trust, and work-life balance. We would however prefer that you are not too far away in time zones for this role (our timezone is CET).
