About the job
As our new Project Manager, you will join our Technology Center in Skjern and become part of a proficient team of 20 highly skilled technical specialists and project managers working with production technology development, digitalisation, and design and development of manufacturing equipment for our supply organization.
As Project Manager, you will be leading several projects in parallel all the way from customer request (e.g. a request from one of our factories) to implementation and delivery of the advanced, specially designed and customized production equipment. In new product development projects, you will represent the Technology Center and ensure clarification of the technology and processes needed to manufacture the new products, and you will ensure efficient design for manufacturing and that we have the right production equipment when the product is introduced in production.
More specifically, you will:
Lead, facilitate and coordinate project activities including project planning, budgeting, resource allocation and stakeholder management
Clarify needs with the customer and turn needs into technical specifications
Engage with senior designers and programmers to define machine sequence and mechanical and electrical construction
In collaboration with designers and procurement, define suppliers and order components
Direct and guide the team in our local workshop developing and building the equipment
Facilitate transportation, installation and training on site incl. SAT
Ensure final handover and transfer of responsibility to customer
You will be based in Skjern and be part of a global organisation, and you will report directly to Senior Manager of Technology Center Denmark, Jack Sanz. You can expect to travel approximately 15 days/year and occasionally visit our site in Østbirk.
About you
You thrive working with project management, technical solutions, and processes. As a person, you are structured and systematic and take pride in delivering on your responsibilities on time and at required quality. You are proficient in planning and know how to visualize a project plan and break it into suitable work packages. You are collaborative and a skilled communicator with the ability to get people onboard and work towards one common goal. This requires solid stakeholder management skills, and you are characterised by your ability to efficiently work and communicate across all levels of an organization and with a diverse group of stakeholders. You are a team player, and you know how to motivate your project team continuously to deliver high quality on time.
Moreover, we imagine that:
You have a bachelor or master’s degree within a technical field, e.g. engineering or similar
You bring some years of experience in a similar role working with project management
Have solid technical knowledge of machinery and mechanics
You speak and write English and Danish at a professional level
