A lot of responsibility, even as a student
The role offers the opportunity for the right candidate to obtain responsibility for both small and large corporate legal and compliance projects in our continued development of Xellia’s corporate governance and corporate compliance program.
Your primary tasks will be to assist with:
- Contract management, including communication with stakeholders and digital archiving
- GDPR compliance, including risk assessment and audit of data processors
- Compliance policies and procedures
- Compliance training program
- Legal research.
The position also includes opportunities to assist with tasks related to:
- Corporate law and corporate governance
- Third party due diligence
- Anti-bribery and corruption
- Sanctions and export control
- Sustainability and ESG.

Other preferred qualifications are:
- You are studying a Bachelor of Laws or HA(jur.) and have a strong interest in company law, business ethics and corporate compliance.
- You have excellent written and oral English skills as most of the work will be in English
- You are proactive with a can-do attitude
- You have a positive spirit and are a quick learner
- You are outspoken as a person and have a strong desire to learn
- You have the ability to work in a global, multi-cultural and diverse work environment.
Preferably, you have taken or expect to sign up for one or more courses on topics of company law, contract law, EU data protection law, corporate social responsibility, or life science law.

The workload as student assistant is approximately 10-15 hours per week and allows for flexibility around studies and exams.
The position is based in Copenhagen, and you will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Legal Compliance.
