About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Product to lead our AI-driven Pricing and Inventory Optimization product families. This role is ideal for a leader who understands the intersection of AI, data-driven decision-making, and SaaS product development.

As the Director of Product, you will oversee a team of 4 Product Managers and 3 Product Designers, guiding them to enhance existing AI-powered solutions and develop new, innovative products. You will collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and key stakeholders to establish best practices for AI product management, drive sustainable product development, and foster a culture of continuous discovery, iteration, and delivery.

Your leadership will be critical in shaping the strategic direction, ensuring alignment across teams, and delivering AI-powered solutions that optimize pricing and inventory decisions for global customers.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Product Creation:

  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring the creation of innovative solutions from the ground up.
  • Guide the evolution of AI-based demand forecasting and optimization models, ensuring they deliver real business impact.
  • Co-create the product vision and strategy to drive long-term success and empower autonomous decision-making.
  • Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to translate AI research into scalable SaaS solutions.


Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor and expand a team of 4 Product Managers and 3 Product Designers.
  • Build a strong AI product management function that balances experimentation with business impact.
  • Foster a culture of cross-functional collaboration between product, data science, engineering, and business teams.


Product Process Establishment

  • Establishing Product Management best practices for AI/ML product development and instilling a culture of continuous discovery, frequent iteration and continuous delivery.
  • Integrate user research, usability studies, and business insights into actionable product requirements.
  • Balance AI automation with user control, ensuring customers trust and understand AI-powered recommendations.


Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Identify and track key product metrics for AI model performance, product adoption, and business impact.
  • Analyze data to optimize product performance and support continuous improvement.


Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders to drive adoption of AI-powered decision-making.
  • Integrate stakeholder feedback into product requirements and establish cross-departmental feedback loops for alignment.
  • Collaborate closely with technical leaders to support sustainable product development and flawless delivery.
  • Educate internal teams and customers on the capabilities and limitations of AI models in pricing & inventory optimization.


Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 6 years in Product Management across b2b products.
    • 5 years of people management experience, including hiring, mentoring and coaching.
    • Proven track record of delivering end-to-end products from conception to launch.
    • Proven experience in building and launching AI-powered applications.
    • Experience in building SaaS products is a plus.
    • Experience in pricing, supply chain, or inventory management software is a plus.
  • Skills & Knowledge:
    • Expertise in defining and executing structured product development processes.
    • Understanding of machine learning, predictive analytics, and AI model performance metrics.
    • Proven ability to use data to track, measure, and demonstrate the value products deliver to customers.
    • Strong analytical skills to inform decision-making and internal communication.
  • Leadership & Communication:
    • Experience in organizational transformations.
    • Strong ability to communicate complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strategy:
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing product strategy.
    • Experience guiding product evolution to meet user needs and business objectives.
