We are seeking a highly organized and commercially astute Preconstruction Manager to play a pivotal role in securing and delivering cutting-edge data centre and technology projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the preconstruction phase, developing winning strategies, and ensuring projects are set up for successful delivery from the outset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the preconstruction process for data centre and technology projects in the Frankfurt area.
- Develop and implement winning bid strategies, including risk assessments, value engineering, and innovative solutions.
- Prepare detailed and accurate tender submissions, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
- Coordinate and manage input from various internal and external stakeholders, including design teams, estimators, and subcontractors.
- Conduct thorough analysis of client requirements, tender documentation, and market conditions.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities during the preconstruction phase.
- Present clear and compelling proposals to clients.
- Negotiate preconstruction agreements and assist in the smooth handover to the delivery team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders in the Frankfurt data centre market.

- Significant experience in a preconstruction management role within the construction or engineering sectors, with a strong focus on data centre or other technically complex projects.
- In-depth understanding of data centre construction methodologies, MEP systems, and associated technologies.
- Proven track record of successfully securing projects and leading preconstruction teams.
- Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in English is essential; proficiency in German is highly advantageous.
- A strong understanding of the Frankfurt data centre market and its key players.
