Validation Engineer (m/f/d) Cluster/HeadUnit

Your Tasks:

• Testing, tracing SW/HW including appropriate documentation
• Reviewing validation results and drive issue resolution internally and with suppliers
• Clarification of major issue and initiating follow-up initiatives
• Handling test environment issues (i.e. SW Update, broken ECUs)
• Executing, evaluating and documenting of online remote update (ORU) tests, field test and in vehicle test
• Software flashing of different ECUs and maintenance of test benches with latest S/W
• Setting up online test bench and conduct troubleshooting of issues
• Issue analysis, creation of tickets, and drive them till resolution with verification of bug fixes

Your Expertise:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in of information technology, electrical engineering, computer science or closely related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Test engineering of automotive electronics is must (In-Vehicle test or Field test)
• Experiences in Telematics HeadUnit project is must
• Good understanding over SW structure (OS such as Linux, Android, QNX, or Autosar; Preferably Linux; Process structure, IPC and the necessity of it, CP/AP communication)
• Deep understanding of in-Vehicle network technologies such as CAN, Ethernet, and UDS
• Good understanding of Automotive Connectivity Projects (OTA, C2X, Online services, and Ecall)
• Good understanding of reworking vehicles with security
• Great perspective (from former experiences) to distinguish what kind of document or information are needed to be gotten from OEM
• Vision to make agile methodology possible utilizing tools and ideas to improve it
• Very good communication skills in English (German is recommended)
