Our client is seeking an In-house Senior Analyst Business Insights to play a crucial role in integrating valuable insights into strategic planning and execution. In this role your analyses will support commercial teams across product launches, sales, and marketing activities, ensuring data-driven decision-making. You will leverage data analytics and business intelligence tools to generate actionable insights, identify market trends, forecast business outcomes, and drive strategic initiatives. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and a global network of analysts will be key to ensuring alignment and maximising impact.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth evaluations of business performance, customer behaviour, and market trends to deliver meaningful insights.
Partner with Marketing, Sales, IT, and Analytics teams, including data science and market research, to understand business needs and provide analytical support.
Utilise advanced analytics tools (e.g., forecasting, customer segmentation, commercial spend optimization) to enhance proactive analysis. Experience in predictive modelling is a plus.
Work with SQL, Python, R, and other data analytics tools to support data-driven initiatives.
Monitor and interpret key market trends and performance metrics, offering recommendations for strategic improvements.
Collaborate with data stewardship teams to ensure data integrity and compliance with governance frameworks.
Guide junior analysts and contribute to a data literacy program, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
Your Profile
Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative science (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related field).
5-7 years of experience in business analytics, data analysis, or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead position. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL), and statistical analysis software.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to present complex information to diverse audiences.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying improvement opportunities.
Fluent in German and English.
