Financial Accountant

Responsibilities

• Independently handle daily bookkeeping activities in compliance with German GAAP (HGB), including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank transactions, and general ledger entries
• Perform accounting tasks using DATEV, especially within the Kanzlei-Rechnungswesen module
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local statutory requirements
• Support annual audits and tax filings by providing accurate and timely documentation
• Ensure full compliance with local accounting, tax, and regulatory standards in Germany
• Coordinate with the group headquarters for intercompany reconciliation and group reporting
• Liaise with external stakeholders including tax advisors, banks, and service providers on financial matters

Qualifications

• Degree or certified qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Steuerfachangestellte(r) or equivalent certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years hands-on accounting experience in Germany with strong knowledge of HGB
• Proficient in DATEV for accounting and reporting purposes
• Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
• Reliable, structured, and able to work independently in a fast-paced international environment
• Fluent in German und English (spoken and written);
