My client, a global leader in EV cable and connection technology, is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team in Stuttgart. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of driving growth across the EV ecosystem — leading strategic partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and managing key accounts with major OEMs and contractors in the charging infrastructure space.
Responsibilities:
Lead sales activities for the EV ecosystem across the global organization, while directly managing key customer accounts
Act as an internal subject matter expert for e-mobility and support stakeholders across departments
Key account management for major OEMs and EPCs in the EV charging infrastructure space
Identify and drive new business opportunities in the e-mobility sector
Analyze market trends, customer demands, and competitors to assess risks and opportunities
Build and maintain partnerships and a strategic network within the EV ecosystem and e-mobility industry
Support the sales team with strategic direction and independently implement sales measures
Collaborate with R&D, production, and marketing on developing and launching new EV-related products
Lead contract negotiations, including proposal preparation and presentations
Regular reporting on business development progress and outcomes
What You Bring:
5 years of business development experience, ideally in e-mobility, EV ecosystem, or EV charging infrastructure
A degree in business, engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
Strong understanding of e-mobility technologies and applications in industrial and charging infrastructure contexts
Established network within the EV and mobility sector
Proven strategic thinking and long-term business planning skills
Excellent negotiation and communication abilities with a goal-oriented, assertive personality
Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in international environments
High willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
Fluent in both written and spoken German and English (additional languages a plus)
