Job Purpose & Organizational Setup
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic content leader to drive the global corporate group’s voice, digital presence, and audience engagement across key internal and external channels. This role is central to shaping how we communicate our company story, values, and impact to diverse stakeholders — from employees and partners to media and the public.
As the Lead corporate group content, digital channels and engagement, you are a key contributor to the global Corporate Communication team at Straumann Group. You will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that align with the corporate brand, support business goals, and strengthen engagement across platforms including our website, intranet, social media, internal communications channels, and campaigns.
You will report to and work in close collaboration with the head of group corporate Communication and philanthropy.
The position is based at the company’s HQ in Basel, Switzerland.
This position reports to the head global corporate communications and philanthropy of Straumann Group.
Key Responsibilities
Content strategy and leadership:
- You will drive Straumann Group’s reputation as a global leader in tooth replacement, orthodontic and digital solutions by developing compelling stories that position Straumann Group
- You will own and execute the overarching content strategy for the corporate group, ensuring one voice across all digital and internal channels from a content perspective in close collaboration with the head of branding.
- Editorial planning, newsroom leadership and execution:
- You will drive a unified content strategy that integrates editorial planning with agile newsroom execution. Acting as the central hub for corporate storytelling, you will oversee a global editorial calendar and coordinate cross-functional and regional content contributions to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging across all digital and internal channels. You will balance long-term strategic planning with responsive, real-time content needs — shaping and delivering impactful stories that engage audiences, support business priorities, and strengthen the voice of the corporate group.
Engagement & Storytelling
- You will drive engagement through people-centric and purpose-driven storytelling (e.g. business, patient and employee stories), ensuring alignment with corporate priorities and global campaigns together with other teams such as employer branding, culture, etc
Digital Channel Ownership
- You will be responsible for the content management and optimization of global corporate digital platforms including the corporate website, intranet, and social media account in line with brand and content strategy.
- Internal and external analytics, metrics & insights:
- Develop and track KPIs and content performance metrics to evaluate impact and effectiveness of communications activities, shaping the corporate communications strategy, and guide continuous improvement across campaigns.
- Support of key corporate communications activities:
- Support key internal communication initiatives such as quarterly global townhalls, executive messaging, and strategic updates for employees and leadership.
- Supports the content creation of the Straumann Group’s annual report
- Supporting Straumann Group’s issues and crisis communications as needed
Required Knowledge And Personal Attributes

- Who is fluent in English with excellent writing skills – German would be a strong plus, any other language is an advantage;
- With a track-record in working in an international environment; work experience abroad and in a multi-brand organization is appreciated;
- With a proven track record of managing content across digital platforms and driving audience engagement
- Who has an expertise in content analytics, social media insights, and digital KPIs
- With excellent communication skills;
- With extensive practical experience, hands-on mentality and a can-do attitude;
- With the ability to be a self-starter and develop and drive activities autonomously;
- With a high level of integrity, commitment and ethics;
- Who has strong relationship and stakeholder management skills;
- Who is confident in working with senior leaders;
- With excellent influencing skills and an effective team player
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, and/or Business Administration
- With 10 years of experience in corporate communications, content strategy, or brand communications, ideally in a global or matrixed organization
- Outstanding writing and editing skills in English and ideally also in German
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet budget and deadlines
- Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to audience, whether verbal or written
- Strong project management skills
- Strong people skills with experience working and collaborating at all levels and with all functions, including senior management
- Intermediate to advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint as well as additional corporate communication analytical tools
