Our Finance Department works diligently and responsibly every day to provide us with the necessary stability to pursue our innovative and patient-driven business model. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed and experienced Tax Consultant (all genders) to support our Director of Finance and the management in all tax and business management issues to contribute to the optimal design of our business processes. As a new member of our finance team, you should be interested in continuous learning and development as well as working in an international environment. In return, you can expect varied and challenging tax-related tasks and an experienced team of finance experts at your side – locally and globally. Training and support while working on challenging issues are a matter of course for us.


A challenging task

  • Responsibility for the preparation of transfer pricing documentation incl. preparation of the data basis in cooperation with our external consultants
  • Preparation and updating of internal accounting guidelines and workflow descriptions as well as responsibility for procedural documentation
  • Design and optimization of processes in the context of tax compliance
  • Processing of VAT matters - primarily with international reference
  • Monthly processing of VAT obligations in other EU countries in cooperation with the respective national tax advisors
  • Independent tax support consultancy incl. responsibility for annual financial statements and tax returns for companies in Hamburg
  • Collaboration with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)


A convincing background

  • Completed university degree in Business/Finance and successfully passed the tax consultant exam in Germany
  • 2 to 5 years of professional experience, preferably in an international tax consulting and auditing firm, alternatively in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Enthusiasm for tax topics in an international and service-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of VAT, in an international environment
  • Communication and assertiveness skills
  • Independent, precise and structured way of working
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, cross-divisional and goal-oriented
  • High level of commitment, flexibility and a high level of teamwork characterize your way of working
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • Experience in using MS Office, especially Excel and Microsoft Dynamics Navision is an advantage
