Energy System Analyst

Amesan is recruiting for our client, an innovative energy tech company working on cutting-edge modeling solutions for the future of district energy. We are currently looking for an Energy System Analyst to join their international projects in 5th generation district energy systems.

About the Position

Energy System Analyst (junior to mid-level)

• Location: Helsinki or Tampere, Finland (other locations may be considered)
• Type: Full-time, permanent, hybrid work model
• Part-time options available for master’s students
• Responsibilities will be adapted based on your experience

You’re a great fit if you:

• Have 1–4 years of experience in district heating system design, planning, or operations
• Alternatively, are nearing completion of a master's degree and have relevant industry experience (thesis opportunities may be available)
• Understand hydraulics and thermodynamics in district energy systems
• Hold or are pursuing a master's degree in energy systems, process engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
• Are fluent in written and spoken English
• Are self-driven, organized, and comfortable in client-facing situations

Bonus points if you:

• Have hands-on experience in district energy modeling and simulation
• Speak Finnish, Swedish, or German at a native or professional level
• Know programming (Python, Java)
• Have experience with project management and client interactions
• Show a business-oriented mindset to support the sales team
• Are familiar with Network Information Systems (NIS)
