Scrum Master

We are looking for Scrum Masters to join our team for various projects of different sizes in both the public and private sectors. In our projects the technologies used include Java, Node.js, Typescript, React, React Native, Vue.js, Angular, C#, .NET, Python, AWS, and Azure.

At the moment, we are hiring directly for a project. This means that we have ongoing recruitment, but before making an offer, we need to find your first project based on what we have discussed with you during the recruitment process. We believe this improves the employee experience, as we can offer a project immediately when you start at Gofore.

It is important to us that we find a project that interests you! You can influence whether you join a development or renewal project in sectors such as healthcare, early childhood education, or transportation. We offer genuinely meaningful projects that impact the lives of hundreds of thousands of Finns. Examples of our clients include Aimo Park, Metso, TE-Digi and Elisa.

What we expect from you

• At least five years of work experience in application development with modern web technologies

• At least three, preferably five, years of experience in the role of Scrum Master

• Experience in leading large teams

• Good interpersonal skills

• Fluent in Finnish

• Certifications (CSM, PSM) are considered an advantage

As a Scrum Master in software development projects, you will participate in project management throughout the entire project lifecycle. You will work closely with the product owner, the team, and the client, so good interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role. Even if you do not participate in daily development work by coding yourself, your technical background will help you support the development team with technical questions.

You are a people-oriented enabler of the team's smooth daily operations, with the skill and insight to support the development team and solve emerging challenges. You have solid technical expertise and a proven track record in managing software development projects, and you are familiar with well-known agile project management frameworks. In addition to project management, you also have an eye for quality code.

Salary development

At Gofore, work must be compensated with a proper overall remuneration. Your salary is influenced by your experience and skills, as well as two of our values: active efforts to ensure Gofore is a good workplace for everyone and considering the customer perspective in everything we do. In salary discussions with your supervisor, the key factors are the feedback you receive, your billing rate (after all, we are consultants!), and developing your skills. As a Scrum Master, your monthly salary is €4,500 – €5,500. In addition, Gofore offers various bonuses based on the company's success, such as those related to recruitment, sales, or increasing Gofore's visibility.
