Job Posting for Deputy Manager-Procurement Marketing at OPPO India
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Procurement Specialist with at least 8-10 years of expertise to lead our Influencer and Celebrity partnership initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding in talent procurement, negotiation, and relationship management. The candidate will have a strong network within the entertainment and influencer industry, and a deep understanding of how celebrity endorsements and KOL collaborations drive brand value and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Identification & Sourcing: Identify and evaluate suitable celebrities, influencers, and KOLs aligned with brand objectives, target audiences, and campaign goals across various platforms (Instagram, YouTube etc.).
Negotiation & Contracting: Lead end-to-end negotiation of deliverables, pricing, usage rights, exclusivity, and timelines with talent, agents, and managers. Draft and review contracts in coordination with legal teams.
Price Benchmarking & Market Intelligence: Continuously benchmark talent pricing across the industry using a mix of market intelligence, historical campaign data, competitor analysis, and agency insights. Leverage this information to make informed, cost-effective decisions and optimize ROI for all paid partnerships.
Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with talent representatives, influencers, and KOLs to ensure repeat engagements and favorable deal terms.
Campaign Planning & Execution: Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to integrate KOLs/celebrities into brand campaigns, product launches, events, and digital activations.
Performance Monitoring: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of influencer/celebrity partnerships. Optimize future procurement decisions based on data-driven insights. Monitor campaign effectiveness through KPIs such as reach, engagement, conversions, and brand lift. Provide post-campaign analysis and optimize future collaborations based on results.
Budget Management: Manage talent procurement budgets effectively, ensuring maximum ROI on all paid collaborations and endorsements.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of contracts, communications, and project milestones. Provide regular reports on procurement activities, vendor performance, and cost analysis to senior leadership.
Education Qualifications
MBA-Marketing in business administration, Marketing, Communications, Film Production, or a related field. A professional certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
Other Requirements:
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills with a proven track record of securing high-value talent partnerships.
In-depth knowledge of the influencer marketing ecosystem, including platform trends (Instagram, YouTube, etc.), content formats, engagement metrics, and usage rights.
Proficient in influencer procurement platforms, CRM tools, procurement workflows, and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Price benchmarking skills using market insights, industry data, and past procurement experiences to ensure fair and cost-effective deals.
Strong budget management and cost optimization capabilities across varying campaign sizes and talent tiers.
