Overview of work sphere and key areas of responsibility:
For our Commercial Organization in Cluster South-East we are looking for an Accountant. The responsibilities include processing payments, updating financial records, and managing invoices. In this role you will strengthen the Finance team in Hungary on financial administration tasks. You will be based out of Hungary and report to the Cluster Accounting Manager. Your activities will cover those as mentioned, but is not limited to:
- Registering and filing incoming invoices (including approval process)
- Handling the contracts, orders and making the necessary correspondence with the colleagues/clients
- Preparing payments to suppliers, employees and tax authorities in the banking system
- Overseeing client accounts, checking the incoming payment postings and contacting to customers if necessary
- Managing, checking the employee’s expense reports
- Handling petty cash
- Supporting local payroll administration
- Supporting Finance manager with monthly, quarterly and yearly closing
- Supporting the yearly audit process
- Generating reports for the head office if needed
Job and educational requirements, experience and skills:
- Min. 4 years relevant work experience (chartered accountant or degree is an advantage)
- Experience with payroll administration
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
- Flexibility
- Detail-oriented
- Good time management skills
- Team player - being able to work with multiple colleagues from many departments
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in Hungarian and English, other Eastern European languages are an advantage
