GKN Automotive Hungary:

It is a truly exciting time to join us here at GKN Automotive in Hungary. We built a brand new manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Miskolc in 2023, which includes assembly and office accommodation. Our Miskolc facility is a key regional facility for the driveline technologies that GKN Automotive supply to our global customer base. We employ hundreds of colleagues from the local community and will continue to develop the site over time.

We are seeking a PFEMA moderator to join our team.

This position is responsible for creating site level Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA) strategy, maintaining PFMEA aligned with customer specific requirements based on as well as GKN internal process.

What would be your tasks in this role?

• Correctly moderate the FMEA methodology, in the different processes, following the requirements of the CDQ's and clients. Provide support to all areas with the FMEA methodology.
• Facilitate PFMEA Sessions: Lead structured PFMEA workshops involving cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, engineering, and supply chain.
• Risk Identification & Mitigation: Guide teams in identifying potential failure modes, assessing their impact, and implementing appropriate control measures.
• Standardization & Compliance: Ensure PFMEA documents comply with industry standards (e.g., AIAG, IATF 16949) and Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA) Management Procedure.
• Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives by tracking PFMEA action items and verifying the effectiveness of corrective measures.
• Training & Support: Train and mentor employees on PFMEA methodology, best practices, and risk assessment techniques.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate PFMEA documentation and provide regular reports to leadership on risk assessment findings and mitigation progress.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments on site to ensure PFMEA findings are integrated into process development and control plans.
  
  

You are a probably a perfect match, if:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management
• Gained significant years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or quality management, with hands-on involvement in PFMEA moderation.
• You are familiar with the followings: Strong understanding of PFMEA methodology, process risk assessment, and quality tools like APQP, SPC, and Control Plans.
• You hold Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex processes, identify risks, and recommend effective preventive measures.
• Excellent moderation, communication, and interpersonal skills to lead discussions and collaborate with diverse teams. - that's correlates with your behavior
• You are a master in Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving mindset with experience in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• You have prior experience with APIS IQ-RM software.
