Machine Operator - 3 shift rotation

The Company

Abellio Production Ltd is a fast-growing paper products production company, set up in Kells Co. Meath in 2020. As we continue to grow our team of 95 people (August 2023), with the arrival of new equipment, it has created new exciting roles for our internal team and external candidates looking to join our team.

Our working environment is within a clean room facility, conditioned temperature at 21 degrees, modern production equipment, canteen with fresh ground coffee machine equal to any café, relaxed and supportive management style.

Salary

• Our Machine Operators salary is €32,000 inclusive of night shift premium (€30,000 base salary plus our 20% night shift premium).
• Additional 20% night shift premium for all nights worked (on 3 way rotating shift)
• Trainee Operator salaries start at €28,800 all in rate moving to €32,000 over 12 months.

The Role - Machine Operator

Your opportunity is to work with a team of people looking to maximise the performance of our world class machinery including new robotics systems, inline vision systems and lasers markings.

We are looking for an experienced machine operator to join our rotating shifts. A brief outline of the role includes:

· Complete pre and post-production checks on machinery and workspace

· Machine setup and control in adherence with SOP’s

· Conduct quality control checks on products.

· Experience working with documentation: SOP’s, Production logs etc

· Complete track & trace production reports.

. Identify and communicate machine maintenance requirements.

· Ensure machine and workspace knowledge is transferred between shifts

. Maintaining a clean & safe production working environment and follow training guidance

Role Expectations:

• Experienced in machine operator role
• Problem solving ability
• Work well in a team to keep the production equipment running in line with best practices
• Ensure quality is at the heart of everything we/you do
• Great work ethic. Complete all instructions provided.
• Availability to work 3 way rotating shift pattern (mornings, afternoons, nights)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €28,500.00-€32,000.00 per year
