Product Inspector – Medical Devices

Caragh Precision is currently recruiting for a Product Inspector for our company based in Parkmore Business Park, Co. Galway. This is a Weekend Day position (Friday, Saturday & Sunday, plus every third Thursday) 7am-7pm. The successful candidate must be available to train on days for an initial 6 -8 weeks.

Requirements:

• Accuracy and good attention to detail.
• Good level of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

General Function

Reporting to the cell lead/supervisor, the product Inspector will perform quality inspection, sampling and quality control testing against approved specifications on incoming, in process and finished products.

Main Duties

• Ensuring all incoming materials, packaging components and returned goods are sampled, inspected, labelled and tested (where applicable) for determining compliance with established specifications and COC.
• Completion of associated documentation and records.
• Using testing and measuring equipment to conduct inspections.
• Participates in daily production and achieving daily/weekly targets.
• Following procedures and carrying out visual inspections on specialised products to make sure correct specifications are followed.
• Maintaining high attention to detail at all times.
• Adhere to Company policies and ensuring health and safety regulations are maintained at all times.
