Career Vision Recruiters seek an experienced Corporate Sales Manager to join a well known hotel in Cork. The Ideal candidate will be enthusiastic with a warm personality and have a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Experience in a similar role is essential.
***Depending on the experience of the candidate this role can be either a three, four or five day a week role***
The Role:
· To work with the Director of Sales and Marketing, in promoting the Hotel, on a local and national level, to raise the hotel profile, to retain and maintain existing business and develop new business, resulting in increased sales from the corporate sector.
· Develop a partnership/relationship with local Cork based companies and some national companies and their various departments to drive for new and existing corporate, meeting and events business.
· Create a yearly plan of activity of how to drive one of our key market segments that of corporate in conjunction with our annual Sales & Marketing Plan.
· To ensure the smooth and efficient handover of all conferences, meetings, events, private dining, from the enquiry stage through to conversion, including client liaison and contracting, as you hand all over to the Events Sales Executive
· To achieve maximum potential revenue for the areas and to meet the budget.
· To increase the productivity of private dining, our meeting space by widening the client base, including corporate clients direct or via third party agencies.
· To ensure a consistent flow of information within the office and amongst other departments within the hotel.
· To work closely with the Sales & Marketing, Revenue & Reservations and Food & Beverage teams to ensure all guest requests are met and to maintain the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop a partnership/relationship with local Cork based companies and some national companies and their various departments to drive for new and existing corporate, meeting and events business.
· To compile a weekly and monthly sales production report for the corporate sales activity for S&M department regarding our Top Producers for both corporate and MICE.
· To understand our competitive set, conduct benchmark analysis
· To organize and host corporate client entertainment and seasonal gifting to corporate clients in association with The Director of Business Development.
THE CANDIDATE:
· 1 to 2 years’ experience in similar corporate sales, or events role in a hotel environment
· Proven track record of strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and focus on what is required to meet deadlines and has excellent analytical skills.
· Understand financials, KPI’s and the budget for the assigned area.
· Strong knowledge of booking systems | Experience with CMS | Hotsoft is required
· Knowledge of the local Cork company and corporate marketplace
