Skilled Operative

Role Description:
We are recruiting an experienced Skilled Operative to join our ventilation team to work on a wide range of energy efficiency retrofit projects in the Leinster region with the primary responsibility of carrying out electrical wiring, testing and commissioning of heat pumps, solar PV installations and mechanical extract fans amongst other works

Key Responsibilities:

• Completing preparation works including covering up and putting floor protections in place
• Coring of new background and permanent wall vents using wet and dry coring equipment
• Installation of background, permanent, and demand-controlled wall vents
• Installation of roof ventilation
• Carefully lifting floor finishes and installing ridged box ducting
• Installation of centralised ventilation fan units
• Reinstatement of all floor and wall finishes
• Cleaning up of all work areas and making good
• Snagging and handover

General Requirements:

• Experience in general construction or a similar role
• Have previous experience or be familiar with SEAI Codes of Practice
• Professional, honest, hardworking, reliable, and trustworthy
• Be thorough and pay attention to detail
• Clean and tidy tradesperson
• Applicants must have good English
• Safe Pass
• Manual Handling
• Full clean driving license (B)

Pay: €18.00-€20.00 per hour
