Role Description:
We are seeking a Building Surveyor to join our building surveying team who is responsible for carrying out a wide range of Home Energy Surveys and Airtightness testing on domestic dwellings.
Survey work includes carrying out a wide range of domestic home energy assessments, pre installation validation surveys and laser scanning surveys of domestic dwellings located in the mainly Dublin and Leinster region. The accuracy and detail contained in these surveys is essential to enable the company to deliver its services to the highest standards within the market.

- Carry out laser scanning surveys using state of the art Faro S70 Laser scanning equipment
- Carry out detailed Home Energy Assessment surveys in accordance with SEAI requirements
- Carry out a complete detailed Pre-installation validation surveys for confirmed projects prior to works commencing to ensure that all quotation details are agreed with the customer and are in strict accordance with best practices, industry and building standards which include:
- NSAI S.R.54:2014 Code of Practice for the Energy Efficiency Retrofit of Buildings
- NSAI S.R. 50 Series: Standards for Modern Plumbing and Heating
- SEAI Better Energy Homes Contractors Code of Practice
- SEAI Better Energy Homes Quality Assurance and Disciplinary Procedures
- SEAI Warmer Homes Scheme Operations Manual
- Building Regulations, Part Land Part F
- Manufacturers guidelines
- NSAI Agreement Certification
- All other relevant standards
- Processing of variations to Project Quotations for a wide range of energy efficiency upgrade quotation measures includes as part of a customer Project Quotation
- Support the company's commitment to quality of service and "right first time" approach through the provision of continuous training and personal development based on analytical quality management reporting data
General Requirements:
- Cert, Dip, BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying, Construction, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of building science, building physics and engineering principles
- Good knowledge of the building regulations
- Be familiar with S.R.54:2014 Code of Practice for retrofitting works in Ireland
- Be familiar with the SEAI Energy Efficiency Grant Programs
- Excellent communication & IT skills
- Committed to continuous education and personal development
- Positive, outgoing, and flexible
- Must have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a construction related role
Salary & Wages
Salary guide for this role is €38,000 - €45,000/annum. This is paid weekly by EFT (Electric Funds Transfer).
Hours of Work
Standard working hours (39 hours/week) are 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4pm on Fridays.
