Warehouse Manager

• Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
• Coordinates work activities of warehouse operations with other departments to ensure better efficiency and cohesion.
• Oversees cost control measures to strengthen gross profit and contribution.
• Maintains operational reliability of warehouse equipment and company assets.
• Act as escalation contact for any operational issues within the station's operations.
• Train employees on job specific duties and develops employees through coaching
• Make suggestions and show initiative for process improvements.
• Effectively communicate with clients, vendors and employees.
• Promotes, monitors and maintains best practice in Health, Safety, Quality and Security with their Team(s).
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Stand or sit for long periods of time
• Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to climb or balance
• Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds with hand truck/pallet jack and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand

• Comfortable with managing people, plans, budgets and reporting
• SAP experience is a preference for this role.
