Security Officer

We are currently seeking vigilant and dedicated Security Personnel to join our team in Galway. The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to maintain security and detect any suspicious activity.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms to respond promptly to security threats or breaches.
• Control access points and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises.
• Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized entry or incidents.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies if necessary and assist in emergency situations.
• Write reports detailing security incidents or irregularities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a related role.
• Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
• Both Day and Night shifts are available for Monday - Sunday, seven days a week.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Valid PSA license or certification.
• Garda Vetted.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

• Leaving Certificate (preferred)

Experience:

• Security: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• PSA (required)
