Accounts & Finance Manager required for privately owned business in Ennis, Co. Clare

Cummins Car Centre is County Clare’s Toyota Main Dealer. We are seeking an Accounts & Finance Manager to join our Toyota Dealership in Ennis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a franchise dealership selling the #1 brand in the Irish market for the last 4 years. The role is very much hands on and includes processing the daily transactions right up to preparing the company management accounts.

The day to day:

• Preparation of Monthly Management accounts
• Debtor & Creditor transaction processing & reconciliation
• Bank & Credit Card transaction processing & reconciliation
• Daily & monthly Vehicle Stock Management activities
• Preparation and submission of VAT & Payroll returns
• Part time Accounts assistant supervision
• Liaising with External Auditors, Toyota Ireland Finance Team, External Suppliers and the Revenue Commissioners
• Budget and Cashflow preparation & monitoring. Margin & Profitability reporting
• To coordinate the provision of IT services to the business with our IT services company
• Contribute to other commercial & financial projects as required

Principal Requirements

• Qualified accountant
• Confident in using Microsoft Word with strong Excel skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Knowledge of the Motor Industry is a big advantage
• Ability to work on own initiative and part of a team
