Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
To prepare the kitchen for opening including preparing of food for daily meals. To assist in the preparation of nutritious meals for our members. To maintain the kitchen area;keep appropriate records and meet relevant HACCP requirements (ie temperature, cupboard rotation etc) Perform temperature checks on all refrigerators and freezers. To work on menu plans and stock controls. To adhere health and safety policy. To participate in team meetings re; Health and Safety, Fire and Safety and risk assessment. To ensure that appropriate cleaning products and equipment are used and the kitchen area is kept clean at all times. Use and wear protective clothing and gloves while cooking as per HACCP requirements. Be aware of Food and Safety procedures at all times. Undertake appropriate training when required. Work as part of a team.
