Tá an teicneolaíocht, go leor sonraí a ghineadh, i gcroílár ár n-oibríochtaí. Táimid ag tóraíocht Forbróir Comhtháthaithe Sonraí agus Córas le bheith mar chuid d’fhoireann ildisciplíneach agus speisialaithe a sheachadann cineálacha réitithe agus comhtháthaithe bogearraí do shraith córas casta, den chéad scoth a thacaíonn le hInfreastruchtúr Criticiúil Náisiúnta ar bhonn 24/7.

Beidh tú mar chuid den bhunsraith le haghaidh fhorbairt ár gcleachtais ‘Forbairt, Oibríochtaí agus Néal’. Tabharfaidh tú faoi dhearadh agus faoi fhorbairt na réitithe bogearraí agus na sonraí ina gcuirtear uirlisí ar fáil do pháirtithe leasmhara ar fud na heagraíochta.

• Ní mór 4-5 bliana de thaithí a bheith ag an té sin ar fhorbairt bogearraí chomh maith le céim/ cáilíocht i ndisciplín teicniúil
• Taithí ar bhogearraí a sheachadadh i dtimpeallacht Shofhreagrúil / Forbartha agus Oibríochtaí
• Taithí ar bhainistiú sonraí agus ar theicnící aistrithe
• An cumas chun cumarsáid a dhéanamh le baill foirne ag gach leibhéal laistigh den eagraíocht
• Féinspreagtha agus an cumas ag an té sin le hoibriú i dtimpeallacht chomhoibríoch foirne
• A bheith in ann an cumas a léiriú chun fadhbanna casta a réiteach/chun scileanna fadhbfhuascailte a léiriú agus tacair sonraí chasta a léiriú ar bhealaí sothuigthe.
• Taithí ar shonraí a láimhsiú i dtimpeallacht Oracle PL/SQL agus MySQL

The Opportunity

EirGrid’s Data and System Integration team is expanding its transformation Programme and is looking for Software Developers and Integrators who will support us in achieving our strategic goal of delivering the Energy Transition. Technology, generating vast volumes of data, is at the core of our operations. The teams work will enable data-driven decision making at all levels of the organisation and leveraging our data will be a key enabler for the transition of the Power System to Net Zero.

We are seeking a Data and Systems Integration Developer to be part of a diverse, multi-disciplined and highly specialised team delivering software solutions and integrations to a suite of complex, world class systems that support Critical National Infrastructure on a 24/7 basis.

You will form part of the foundation layer for the development of our Dev-Ops and Cloud practice. You will undertake the design and development of software solutions and data provisioning tools to stakeholders across the organisation.

About You
The successful candidate will have:

• A minimum of 4 –5 years’ experience in software development supported by a degree/ qualification in a technical discipline
• Experience of delivering software in an Agile / Dev-Ops environment
• Experience in data management and transfer techniques
• The ability to communicate with staff at all levels within the organisation
• Self-motivated with an ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems/problem-solving skills and presenting complex data sets in easily understandable ways.
• Experience in manipulation of data in an Oracle PL/SQL and MySQL environment
• Familiarity with all, or some of the following toolset: Visual Studio, .NET, C#, TFS, ASP.NET, XML, MS Azure Portal
• Exposure to: Webservices, APIs and API Tools e.g. SOAPUI/Postman, Powershell, Python, IIS, Oracle ODI, WebServices, Windows Services, Power Apps/Power Bi.
