Head Baker-
We are actively looking for a Head Baker with a proven track record in the industry to join our busy gluten free bakery.
Position:- Head Baker will be primarily involved in the production of all products, with requirement for involvement in and contributing to new product development.
Responsibilities:- To ensure products are made to the required specification and are safe for consumers.
-Scaling, mixing, depositing, proofing, baking of all products in line with company recipes and systems.
-Continually monitor processes and identify areas for improvement.
-Make recommendations for the improvement and follow-up on implementation.
-Ensure customer requirements regarding Products, Processes, Food Safety and Quality are implemented.
-Ensure completion of paperwork in real time and efficiently.
-Contribute towards new product developments, working with existing and new customers to deliver on new product briefs.
-Assist with inventory management, including ordering ingredients and ensuring the availability of baking materials.
-Work as part of a small, close-knit team, supporting colleagues where necessary and contributing to a positive workplace atmosphere.
-Requirements-Proven experience as a baker, with a strong focus on new product development.
-Passion for baking with a commitment to producing high-quality products.
-Excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
-Ability to work early morning shifts.
-Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
-Good communication and teamwork skills.
-Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
-Salary- €50,000 - €70,000 depending on experience
