POSTED ON 4/20/2025 AVAILABLE BEFORE 6/9/2025
Grace Healthcare Ireland, Full Time

Join Us as Our Head of Quality, Compliance & ESG – Shape the Future of Care

We’re looking for a dynamic leader who thrives on driving excellence, ensuring top-tier clinical quality, and shaping the future of compliance and ESG within our nursing home group. This isn’t just a job; it’s an opportunity to make a lasting impact while carving out a role that evolves with your vision and expertise.

Why This Role?

This is your chance to bring fresh thinking to quality, compliance, and sustainability. You’ll build on our strong foundation, enhancing existing systems while identifying areas for further development. No rigid job description here—you’ll have the scope to refine and shape your role.

What You’ll Be Doing

Quality & Compliance Leadership

  • Strengthen and develop clinical quality assurance programs to drive excellence in patient care.
  • Enhance existing processes and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure we meet (and exceed) all healthcare regulations through audits, reporting, and proactive strategies.

Risk & Safety Management

  • Build on current risk assessment protocols to further protect residents and staff.
  • Support and advance a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

ESG & Sustainability

  • Further develop and drive initiatives that positively impact the environment, society, and governance.
  • Expand meaningful ESG metrics and reporting, reinforcing our commitment to responsible care.

Leadership & Influence

  • Mentor and support the Leadership team, helping them build on their strengths in this area.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive awareness and collaboration.
  • Represent our organisation in industry forums and professional associations.

Flexibility & Autonomy - This isn’t a role with a one-size-fits-all approach. As our Head of Quality, Compliance & ESG, you’ll have the ability to shape your own journey, set priorities, and establish initiatives that align with your expertise.

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Qualifications

  • A qualification or experience in Quality and Compliance (essential).
  • Strong communication skills—able to present to medical and non-medical staff, including senior nursing teams, carers, residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Proven experience in engaging with regulatory bodies and managing audits.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in digital and electronic systems for reporting and compliance.
  • Desirable: A nursing qualification, a degree-level education, or completed training in presentation skills.

Skills & Attributes

  • High degree of self-motivation with evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent administration and structured approach to processes.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information concisely.
  • Desirable: Teaching and educational skills, as well as an ability to quickly build rapport with new contacts.

Personal Qualities:

  • Professional, positive, and inclusive approach.
  • A natural leader who can inspire and motivate others.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change, thriving in a dynamic environment.
  • A commitment to improving private healthcare and engaging beyond the core responsibilities of the job.

If you’re ready and want to shape the future of elder care—we want to hear from you. Join a team where your voice is valued, your growth is supported, and your work truly matters.
