Field Development Representative - Alcohol Industry

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Growth

  • Sell and represent some of the world’s most iconic beverage brands.
  • Grow and maintain market share by reaching and exceeding Key Performance Indicators based on Core Range Distribution, Share of Space, NPD Sell in, Secondary Display / Activation, Call Coverage, and Data Accuracy.
  • Activate marketing campaigns across outlets to enhance visibility and customer engagement.
  • Manage and maintain cold drink equipment within the assigned area.

Merchandising Excellence

  • Ensure product availability, optimal shelf positioning, and in-store execution that meets world-class standards.
  • Bring marketing campaigns to life by implementing impactful displays, planograms, and signage in stores.
  • Activate brands through effective merchandising strategies to keep them front and centre in all outlets.
  • Re-merchandise displays during promotions to maximise share of space and sales performance.

Customer Relationships and Insights

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and team members, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and professionalism.
  • Gather feedback on competitor activity and market trends to inform tactical decisions.

Operational Excellence

  • Use strong planning and organisational skills to manage workload and priorities effectively.
  • Leverage IT systems and tools for sales reporting, tracking performance, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure cold drink equipment and branded assets are functioning and properly maintained.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be:

  • A brand ambassador for the company, embodying its values and vision.
  • A proven team player with excellent customer service skills.
  • Results-driven, with the ability to sell, influence, and build strong working relationships.
  • Organised and proactive, with strong planning and time management skills.
  • Commercially aware, with a proven ability to achieve sales objectives and distribution goals.
  • A fluent English speaker with full right to work in Ireland and a clean driving license.

Desirable Criteria:

  • A third-level qualification or progress toward a business-related discipline.
  • Previous sales experience in FMCG, retail, or beverages.
  • Strong IT and numerical skills to analyse and optimise performance.
