Hire Controller/Shop Manager – Edenderry

Due to unprecedented demand, Hire Station Edenderry is looking for an experienced Hire Controller/Shop Managerto join our growing team!

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual with 3 years of experience in a similar role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a busy hire fleet, overseeing the daily operations of the shop, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain a busy hire fleet
• Oversee sales and servicing of garden machinery
• Open and close the store as a key holder
• Maintain a clean and well-organized shop floor
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly
• Ensure high standards are consistently met on the shop floor
• Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Be available for weekend shifts (every second weekend)

Key Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with garden machinery sales
• Ability to handle pressure and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and comfortable engaging with customers
• Ability to be a key holder and manage store opening/closing duties
• A pride in the store’s appearance and cleanliness
• Availability to work every second weekend
