We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electrical QA/QC to join a project based in Frankfurt, Germany. Rotations and package will be flexible for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of electrical components, systems, and installations throughout the project lifecycle. This role is critical in maintaining high standards of quality, safety, reliability, and performance across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting inspections of electrical components, systems, and installations to ensure compliance with industry standards, and project specifications.
Documenting and reporting any deviations, defects, or non-conformities found during inspections or testing.
Developing and implementing quality assurance plans and procedures specific to electrical projects and our installs.
Collaborating with engineering and construction teams to establish and maintain quality standards.
Reviewing electrical installations against technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and specifications.
Monitor adherence to safety regulations and best practices in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
Participate in internal and external audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
Provide feedback to project managers, engineers, and contractors regarding quality issues and recommend improvements.
Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a QA/QC role within the electrical industry.
Experience with electrical testing equipment and tools.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and standards.
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite of software
Ability to manage and prioritise workload
Proficient use of English language both oral and written
